CAL FIRE Jackets

CAL FIRE jackets — built for the swing-shift weather of the line

Cold morning at base camp, 100° at the head of the fire by 2 PM, raining at the staging area by sundown. CAL FIRE jackets have to layer in and out without overheating, take a soot wash, and still look squared away at the morning briefing. Our selection covers every layer — from the everyday job shirt to the L2881 puffy jacket — an off-duty favorite (not an on-duty uniform component).

L2881 puffy jacket

Our top-selling outerwear: a packable puffer in CAL FIRE black with the L2881 logo embroidered on the chest. Fits over a job shirt, fits under a brush jacket. The Game brand build, with our in-house CAL FIRE embroidery package.

Job shirts

The classic CAL FIRE job shirt — heavy weight, tough seams, and a roll-up collar that doesn't crush flat after a season. Available in standard navy and the CAL FIRE branch-specific cuts. Embroidered with your name, station, and rank in our Redding shop.

Station coats

For colder Northern California stations and academy formation work — full-length station coats with the station-wear pattern, embroidered patches, and reinforced cuffs.
