The campaign's pink and blue CAL FIRE duty T-shirts have been approved for duty use during the month of October, and pink CAL FIRE patches have been approved for uniform wear for the same month. Part of the national "Cares Enough to Wear Pink" campaign.

Cancer is the fire service's longest fire. Half of the proceeds from every CAL FIRE Cares item sold at All Risk Uniforms goes to the Firefighter Cancer Support Network.

Can CAL FIRE personnel wear the pink shirt on duty?

Yes, in October. The CAL FIRE Cares Enough to Wear Pink 2026 duty T-shirts, in pink and in blue, are approved for duty use during the month of October. Outside October, standard CAL FIRE uniform policy applies. The sweatshirts and hoodies in this collection are off-duty items.

Where do the proceeds go?

50% of the proceeds from every item in this collection goes to the Firefighter Cancer Support Network (FCSN). The campaign is part of the national "Cares Enough to Wear Pink" effort.

Are pink CAL FIRE patches approved for uniform wear?

Yes. Pink CAL FIRE patches have been approved for uniform wear during the month of October. The CAL FIRE Cares breast cancer awareness patch is in this collection.

What is printed on the shirts?

Every shirt carries the 2026 campaign artwork: the CAL FIRE Cares ribbon logo on the left chest and the full "Cares Enough to Wear Pink 2026" dozer design across the back. Pink shirts get the navy print; navy and blue shirts get the pink print.

The pink shirt is the District DT6000 Very Important Tee in Awareness Pink: 4.3 oz, 100% combed ring-spun cotton, sizes XS to 4XL. It is $25 in XS to XL (2XL $26, 3XL $27, 4XL $31).

The navy duty shirts, sweatshirts and patch are CAL FIRE-only items and require a verified Advanced Registration account at checkout. The pink 100% cotton tee is open to everyone, including family, friends and supporters.
