OFF-DUTY ITEM — not an approved on-duty uniform component. This item is offered for off-duty wear only and is not part of any CAL FIRE duty uniform classification under Handbook 1500.

The premium CAL FIRE crew. Built on Independent Trading Co.'s IND5000C “Legend” — the heaviest crewneck they make — this is a 13.5 oz / 450 gsm slab of brushed-back fleece with no hood and no zipper. Just a serious sweatshirt for cold mornings on the station floor, PT in the fog, and everything off-shift.

Why the Legend

  • 13.5 oz / 450 gsm heavyweight fleece — 70/30 ring-spun cotton/polyester with a 3-end brushed back for a soft, dense hand.
  • 20-singles ring-spun cotton face — a smooth, stable print surface. On our solid Navy, the face yarn is 100% ring-spun cotton.
  • Cross-grain-cut body panels — the body is cut against the grain to limit vertical shrinkage, so it holds its length wash after wash.
  • Double-ribbed side panels — add stretch and shape for a comfortable fit.
  • Reverse coverstitch on every seam — for durability and a premium, finished look.
  • 1×1 rib-knit collar, cuffs, and waistband — 100% cotton ribbing at the cuffs and waistband holds its shape and snaps back.
  • Tear-away woven label — tagless comfort at the neck.

Classic, true-to-size unisex fit. Available in Navy, sizes S–3XL.

Care
