• Is this hat CAL FIRE duty approved?
  Not every style is explicitly listed in the CAL FIRE uniform specification. It is the purchaser's responsibility to confirm the hat meets their own department's uniform policy before wearing it on duty.
• What size should I order?
  Three sizes: XS-SM fits 6 5/8"-7", SM-MD fits 7"-7 1/4", and LG-XL fits 7 3/8"-7 5/8".
• How does it fit?
  Mid-profile six-panel in Pulse performance knit (98% polyester / 2% spandex) with a Stay-Dri sweatband. The U-Form bill ships flat - shape it to the curve you want and it holds.
• Can I add my name to the hat?
  Yes. Name embroidery is $10 and is stitched on the back of the hat in 3/8" letters.
• Can I add my unit?
  Yes. Unit embroidery is $10 and is stitched below the front logo. It is sewn exactly as you type it, so check the spelling before you order.
• What thread colors are available?
  Silver, or Gold for chief officers. There is no charge for either.
• Can I add an American flag?
  Yes. Side flag embroidery is $7.
