What “Policy 1500” means

Handbook 1500 is the CAL FIRE uniform policy. It governs everything from fabric and construction, to brass and insignia placement, to which manufacturers and models are approved for each uniform class. We track the current handbook closely and update this collection as it changes — always confirm current requirements with your unit.
