Rated 5K/2K waterproof and breathable, this softshell keeps you dry and mobile through rain, wind, and cold without sacrificing the professional appearance COS uniform standards require.

The 100% polyester plain weave face with mechanical stretch and microfleece backer delivers warmth and full range of motion through academy drills, field rotations, and station duty. The DWR finish and 3-layer softshell construction seal out the elements, while the one-way center front zipper with internal storm flap and chin guard locks in warmth on the coldest training days. Articulated sleeves with tunneled elastic cuffs and adjustment tabs keep the jacket moving with you — not against you.

Removable pull-out panels at the left/right chest and upper back are ready for COS department patches, name tags, and rank insignia. Left and right communications eyelets at the center front hem route radio cables cleanly without tangling. Hand zipper pockets, a left sleeve zipper pocket, and an inside organizer pocket keep your gear accessible. BBP (bloodborne pathogen) resistant material provides an added layer of protection for COS EMS and fire personnel.
