Introducing the “Don Lacy Student Kit”. This starter pack contains the basic essentials an entry or mid level student needs to begin the journey of becoming a proficient rescuer. These kits can be purchased individually or in quantities; by students, professionals or schools.
They come in a compact fanny pack that makes pre hospital assessments available right from your hip. They leave enough room that small additions could be made while also encompassing the required items that a student would need through a PSFA, EMT, or Advanced EMT course.
Please note that at All Risk we are first responders as well and are always striving to find the the tools that carry the most efficacy on the job. So, while every kit contains items with the same function,5 they are subject to change shape or manufacturer (always, always for the better). Tools are purchased in a variety of colors and you are always free to reach out if you would like a specific palette; although small or rushed orders are subject to availability.
For continuity, some items in the kit will not change. The Don Lacy Kit will always be provided in this black compact fanny pack making storage & transportation efficient and easy. Equipment pertinent to obtaining vitals include a pen light (with dilation scale on it), a digital pulse oximeter and a matching sphygmomanometer and single head stethoscope. PPE in the kit will complete the latex gloves you’ll be wearing and include safety glasses always meeting ANSI requirements and either an N95 or KN95 for respiratory protection. Trauma gear that also fit in this kit include a full size manual tourniquet with and All Risk Uniforms black trauma shears. Concluding the list is a water resistant All Risk Uniforms write in the rain notepad . These come with a matching All Risk Uniforms pen that are warranties for LIFE. These pens can brought to either location and VF be exchanged in person at either store location this year next year or in ten years.
We would like to thank our friends and supporters at the Shasta College EMS program for partnering with All Risk Uniforms and making this kit happen. Education, growth and in this case looking good and having the right gear; relies on interdependence of organizations. We hope to continually provide higher quality and innovative items at the lowest price possible to the EMS program at Shasta College.
