The midweight full-zip — Independent's SS4500Z 8.5oz zip hood. Cotton-rich fleece with a soft 100% cotton face, built to layer over a job shirt or wear solo on a cold station morning.
- 8.5oz midweight fleece — 80% cotton / 20% polyester with a 100% cotton face and a jersey-lined hood
- #5 metal kissing zipper — zip it full-length or open it to vent on the move
- Front pouch pockets either side of the zip; heavy-gauge drawcord with metal eyelets

Is this sweatshirt approved for duty wear?
No. This is an off-duty item. The October duty approval covers the campaign's pink and blue CAL FIRE duty T-shirts and the pink patch, not sweatshirts or hoodies.

What is printed on it?
